The team

Our team brings together researchers and students from diverse backgrounds including archaeology, molecular biology, and population genomics. Our research focuses primarily on the use of biomolecular and computational methods to study human population histories and the history of human infectious diseases. We work at the intersection of archaeology, human population genetics, and microbial ecology and we use genome-scale data to tackle questions relating to the complex interplay between human demography, adaptation, and infectious disease dynamics that shaped human history.
